Below are some of the most often asked questions we receive about Tom Wopat, his career, and the Dukes of Hazzard. FAQ: Is there a big-screen movie version of the Dukes of Hazzard coming out?
A: Yes, please see the Dukes of Hazzard menu link on the left to read all of the details.

FAQ: Has Tom seen the movie version of the Dukes of Hazzard?
A: No, and has no immediate plans to do so. He rarely has time to go to the movies and has a long list of movies, like "Wallace and Gromit".

FAQ: Will there be a third Dukes of Hazzard Reunion television movie?
Answer: Tom Wopat thinks this may be the last one we see of them Duke boys. "Every one gets a little harder to conceive," says Wopat, 48. "You're asking people to suspend belief a little bit. What are these guys still doing running around in their 40s and 50s? They got no jobs, they're still wearing the same clothes. What's up with that?" -- as appeared in the May 22, 2000 issue of People magazine.

FAQ: Where was the Dukes of Hazzard filmed?
Answer: The first five episodes were filmed in Covington, Georgia, and then the show was moved to Los Angeles and shot in surrounding areas, both on set and on location.

FAQ: Did Tom appear on the series "The Sopranos"?
Answer: Nope.

FAQ: Are the Dukes available on video or DVD?
Answer: Yes, you can order the available episodes from Tom's CREDITS page or DUKES OF HAZZARD page. Amazon has all of the available seasons on either VHS or DVD. At this time, the reunion movies haven't been released on DVD. If anyone finds out they have been, please let us know!

FAQ: What channel does "Dukes of Hazzard" air on?
Answer: CMT is currently airing the original Dukes of Hazzard series.

FAQ: What did the initial "K." stand for in Luke's name on the "Dukes of Hazzard"?
Answer: Tom doesn't remember even having an initial, so it's anybody's guess.

FAQ: Did Tom sing the theme song to the t.v. show, "Empty Nest"?
Answer: Nope... we think it was Billy Vera.

FAQ: What was the name of Rosco's dog?
Answer: Flash

FAQ: Is Tom's first album, TOM WOPAT, available on cassette or cd?
Answer: Not at this time, but we're working on a re-issue cassette to be available sometime in the near future.

FAQ: What year, make and model was the General Lee?
Answer: 1969 Dodge Charger

FAQ: Is Tom married or engaged?
Answer: Nope

FAQ: What are the names and ages of Tom's kids?
Answer: From oldest to youngest, they are Lindsey, Joey, Adam, Taylor and Walker.

FAQ: Does Tom keep in touch with other cast members from the Dukes?
Answer: Yes, Tom and John have toured together for a few shows in recent years. They still remain in close contact.

FAQ: Does he have any new music out?
Answer: Tom's new album is entitled DISSERTATION ON THE STATE OF BLISS and features the music of Harold Arlen. Tom released an album on Angel Records in 2001, THE STILL OF THE NIGHT. It's available in your local record stores, or through Tom's web site merchandise store and fan club.

FAQ: Are Tom's earlier albums available anywhere?
Answer: Unfortunately, all of Tom's earlier cd's are out of print. We do sell re-issue cassettes of 3 of the 4 albums (his self-titled album isn't available yet) on Tom's MERCHANDISE catalog.

FAQ: How can I get a picture of Tom?

FAQ: Does Tom have a favorite recipe?
Answer: Yup, Tom is actually a gourmet cook. Click here for one of Tom's famous chili recipe.

FAQ: Does Tom own a General Lee car from the series?
Answer: No, but John Schneider has a restored General Lee that he keeps.

FAQ: What kind of car does Tom drive now?
Answer: He drives a Ford Bronco, and also enjoys his motorcycles (Kawasaki and Yamaha).
